The participants introduced themselves using light-hearted presentations covering ten pre-selected future trends in the "Container Collective" artists’ colony, our pop-up-location for the meet and greet round.

The afternoon at the ‘München Hoch 5’ was dedicated to the transfer of knowledge: Our keynote speaker, Stefan Liske from PCH Innovation, gave insights into the transformation processes within industry and the profound radical changes in the environments of product development, sales and work, followed by impulse presentations and start-up sessions on further trend themes in the Trend Lab.

Käfer Delicatessen opened its doors for the evening event, inviting guests to a culinary discovery tour at various tasting and live cooking locations.

On the second day of the event, Christiane Varga from the 'Zukunftsinstitut', with her talk "Events of the Future", bridged the gap from the previous day’s impulses to the event sector.

In the 'Trend Café' workshops that followed, it was the turn of the participants to reflect on trends in the event industry and to identify the challenges within their own industry sectors. The host venue ‘Impact Hub' provided the ideal fertile ground as a co-working space for collaborative activity, taking the start-ups founded there into consideration.

In the subsequent specialist lecture, the EVENTLawyers gave a talk about the pitfalls within data protection and liability issues within the context of the outlined trends.

In Part 2 of the 'Trend Café' workshops, the participants were given the task of developing their respective Future Trend innovation pitches. To help, a workshop kit was made available to each workshop group. Individual groups created illustrative objects for the presentation of their product ideas for the concluding pitch in the plenum. The best idea and performance was crowned by the participants as the winner.

State-of-the-art event technology with 360-degree live streams and webcasts as well as an interactive event app were used throughout the event to increase interaction and contact intensity between the participants in a playful manner. The MICE Club LIVE in 2017 was run once again as a Sustainable Event.
